"Morning Lake" is a reflective project that explores the relationship between father and son through shared experiences on familiar landscapes. The son retraces the father’s past as a fisherman, observing the lake from dusk till dawn—his father from the boat, and himself from the land. Although their perspectives differ, the shared space fosters an unexpected connection. The sharp pencil on paper serves as a tool, mirroring the father’s fishing tools, capturing fleeting moments and emotions. The collection of three drawings and two works expresses the sense of home and deeper understanding gained through these conversations.
